Meet Coty Hardy
Coty has always had an interest in fitness so when he noticed the sports that he enjoyed most weren’t available in Fort Nelson, he decided to create them himself. “I had a passion for fitness and things like gymnastics and weightlifting that just weren’t being taught here,” he explains. “I wanted to be the guy to teach others.”
“I get to do what I love and see people at their very best, chasing and accomplishing their goals,” he says. When people tell me things they’ve learned here have had an impact in other areas of their life, that makes all of it worthwhile.”
The fitness expert knows how important it is to keep active and wanted to offer that to his community. He started Battle Ready Fitness to inform residents of how important it is to stay on top of your health. “I chose to do business here because I believed people needed it, even if they didn’t know it yet,” he explains. "Before I started teaching the things that I do, no one was providing these services in town. This is my home and I aim to leave it better than I found it!”
Although Coty admits most of his interests revolve around fitness and the gym, he does enjoy quality time with the ones he loves. “I like to read in my downtime or spend time with my family and dogs.
Coty anticipates great things for businesses in Fort Nelson and believes his little town is able to reward entrepreneurs with all of same opportunities that the larger cities offer.
